What we collect

Account: your email address (to sign you in with a one-time code), a display name and optional handle, and the language you use.

Content and activity: the wisdom you submit, likes, reports, authors you hide, and moderation decisions about your content.

Technical: IP address and browser/device information in server logs and session records, used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the service running.

What we don't do

No advertising, no ad tracking, no sale of personal data, no third-party analytics cookies. Wisegram is free for readers and writers and stays that way.

Why we process it

To run the service you asked for (contract), to keep it safe and lawful (legitimate interest and legal obligation), and — for optional features like email updates — with your consent, which you can withdraw.

Who helps us

Hosting and database: Railway (EU/US data centres). Email delivery of sign-in codes: Resend. Edge caching and protection: Cloudflare. Content verification may send the text of a submission (never your identity) to automated moderation and language-model providers to check for abuse and misattribution. Each provider processes data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Your account data for as long as you have an account. Sign-in codes: minutes. Server logs: up to 30 days. Moderation records: as long as needed to enforce the rules and comply with the law.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export, or delete your data. Deleting your account (account page → Delete account) removes your email and name immediately; wisdom you shared stays on the service anonymously unless you delete it first. You can also email support to exercise any right, including objecting to processing or complaining to your data-protection authority.

Children

Wisegram is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, contact support and we'll delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and material changes are announced in the app.
